In Norway our national costume/ folk dress is called Bunad. Our bunads are different depending on where in the country you are from. My Bunad is called Lofotbunad, since I am from The Lofoten Islands in the north. I wanted to represent my own region in this drawing. I have called it "Nasjonalromantikk" which means "Romantic Nationalism".
The building, made from wood, was often used for storing food. It's called Stabbur, and I have always liked them quite a lot. This Stabbur is a real one, located in Geirangerfjorden, Norway.
